Eid Mubarak to you all 🙂
Hamza speaks with Jonathan (ex-jew) about motivation through reward and punishment. In order to understand reward from the Atheist, we can see people behave, act and work for money and other economics benefits such as vacation time, sick leave, health insurance and retirement pension. Some of the rewards that people get, for instance at work are not monetary but symbolic for example, titles, large offices and access to parking. Naturally, people are motivated to work hard whenever they expect that their efforts will improve performance, believe that good performance will be rewarded and value the rewards they expect to receive. Hamza gives the islamic perspective of what motivates muslims through reward and punishment as described in the Qur’an.
